- ✕ Shoots, consults and editing days competing for the same diary
- ✕ Enquiries that go cold during the back-and-forth

Questions photographers ask
How much does a booking system for photographers cost in South Africa?
Allsorts Bookings is R89 a month for a single calendar, R179 for up to five staff calendars, and R349 for unlimited staff plus a custom domain. Prices are in Rand and billed in Rand — there is no exchange-rate surprise on the invoice. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial and no card is required to begin.
Can I take a deposit when a client books?
Yes. You can require a deposit or full payment before a slot is confirmed, taken through your own PayFast account or by EFT, so the money goes straight to you rather than sitting with us. Most photographers use it on the services that get no-showed most, not on everything.
Can I stop a date being held before the deposit is paid?
Yes — that is the point of requiring payment on a service. The slot is not confirmed and stays bookable by someone else until the deposit actually goes through.
Is there a free version?
There is a 14-day free trial with every feature switched on and no card required. After that the lowest paid plan is R89 a month. We do not run a permanently free tier — a booking page that disappears or starts showing ads is worse for your clients than one that costs less than a single missed appointment.
Is it POPIA compliant?
Yes. Client data is stored in a way that meets South Africa's POPIA requirements — clients consent when they book, you can export or delete a client's data on request, and we do not sell or share it. There is a full explanation on our POPIA-compliant booking page.
