Lesson booking for tutors and training providers
Parents and students book lessons against the hours you actually have free, with payment taken up front if that is how you work.
What we hear from tutors
- ✕ Parents phoning during a lesson to arrange the next one
- ✕ Different subjects and lesson lengths in one diary
- ✕ Lessons cancelled at short notice with no policy to point at
- ✕ Chasing payment after the lesson rather than before

Questions tutors ask
How much does a booking system for tutors cost in South Africa?
Allsorts Bookings is R89 a month for a single calendar, R179 for up to five staff calendars, and R349 for unlimited staff plus a custom domain. Prices are in Rand and billed in Rand — there is no exchange-rate surprise on the invoice. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial and no card is required to begin.
Can I take a deposit when a client books?
Yes. You can require a deposit or full payment before a slot is confirmed, taken through your own PayFast account or by EFT, so the money goes straight to you rather than sitting with us. Most tutors use it on the services that get no-showed most, not on everything.
Can I run a tutoring centre with several tutors?
Yes. Each tutor gets their own calendar, hours and subjects. Up to five tutors is R179 a month and unlimited is R349, which also gives you a custom domain for the booking page.
Is there a free version?
There is a 14-day free trial with every feature switched on and no card required. After that the lowest paid plan is R89 a month. We do not run a permanently free tier — a booking page that disappears or starts showing ads is worse for your clients than one that costs less than a single missed appointment.
Is it POPIA compliant?
Yes. Client data is stored in a way that meets South Africa's POPIA requirements — clients consent when they book, you can export or delete a client's data on request, and we do not sell or share it. There is a full explanation on our POPIA-compliant booking page.
